Bells
There are eight bells fitted in a metal frame.
In 1948 three new bells and three bells recast by John Taylor of Loughborough were fitted as a memorial to the people of Stotfold who gave their lives in the Second World War.
Two additional bells were fitted in 1976. All the bells are tuned to the oldest bell which dates from about 1484.

The bells are rung most Sunday mornings at 10am and also for weddings and special occasions. Our team of bell ringers also visits other churches. Bell practice is on Thursdays at 7.30pm. Anyone willing to learn bell ringing will be made very welcome; anyone over the age of 12 years can learn.

There are about 40,000 bell ringers in the UK so this activity is a great way of making new friends and visiting new places.
