| St Mary's Church has a large car park which is accessed from Church Road beside the church hall.
There is a shallow ramped access into the church for wheelchair users and pushchairs.
Although the main part of the church is level, there are three steps, with hand rails, up to the chancel and altar rail. There is space in the main body of the church for wheelchairs and pushchairs. Our Vicar is very willing to bring communion to those who cannot use the steps up to the altar. If you wish to have communion brought to you in your pew or wheelchair please speak to one of the sidespeople when you arrive. Children are welcome at all our services and there is a children’s area in the South Aisle where toys, colouring activities and books are provided. There are also play bags so that young children can amuse themselves in the pews. Please ask one of the sidespeople for a play bag. Alternatively the children can attend Sunday School during the 10am Parish Communion. Large print copies of our hymn book are available. There are toilet facilities in the Church Hall. If you are unable to attend church through ill health we do have a home communion team who will be very happy to come to your home. Please contact our Vicar to make the arrangements. The church is open Monday to Saturday from 9.30am to 3.30pm |
