Bible Study Wednesday 12 & 26 February
10.30am at the Vicarage. We meet on the 2nd and 4th Wednesday of the month and look at art alongside Scripture. All welcome.

Exploring Christianity Wednesday 12 & 26 February
7.45pm in the Vicarage. This is a new group for those interested in exploring what Christians believe, or brushing up on the basics of the faith. We will meet on the 2nd and 4th Wednesdays. If you have any questions please ask Bill or Graham.

Lent 2020 at St Mary's. You are invited to take part in a 40-Day Lent Challenge at home and join morning or evening Lent Groups.  Our lent journey begins this year with morning and evening Ash Wednesday services on 26 February.   Each adult will be givena "Live Lent: Care for God's Creation" booklet which for each day of Lent contains a Bible reading, a short reflection and a suggested action to help us live n greater harmony with God, neighbour and nature.  Each week a theme follows a day of creation such as Light and Energy, Plant or Human & Other Animals. There is a separate booklet for children.
Wednesday mornings: Each Week during Lent the sermon at the Wednesday morning service will be based on a theme tied to the booklet.
Thursday Evenings:  Starting 27 February we meet at 8pm on Thursdays at the Vicarage to discuss a chapter from Ruth Valerio's book "Saying Yes to Life," which has inspired this year's Church of England Lent Campaign. Sign up at the back of the church and order the book.
