In 1948 three new bells and three bells recast by John Taylor of Loughborough were fitted as a memorial to the people of Stotfold who gave their lives in the Second World War. Two additional bells were fitted in 1976. Our team of bell ringers also visits other churches. Bell practice is on Thursdays at 7.30pm. Anyone willing to learn bell ringing will be made very welcome; anyone over the age of 12 years can learn.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"has-medium-font-size\"><strong>Recruiting bell ringers<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"has-text-align-center has-medium-font-size\">There are about 40,000 bell ringers in the UK so this activity is a great way of making new friends and visiting new places.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"has-text-align-center has-medium-font-size\">Anyone willing to learn bell ringing will be made very welcome so if you are interested in joining our team please contact our Tower Captain Richard Castledine.
