This is one of our four special services this year which brings together children and families from our weekly Little Angels baby and toddler group, our monthly Sunday afternoon Tea Time Praise group and our weekly Sunday School. All others are most welcome to this service, which the older children will help lead.

‘Tenebrae’ is Latin for shadows. The aim of the Tenebrae service is to reflect
on the emotional aspects of the passion story. It is a music-rich service. It begins with the church in
candlelight, with as many candles as there are readings, and ends with the
service in darkness. The service ends without a benediction and the people
leave in silence.
